About Kibera Tours Collective

A cooperative of Kibera artists, recyclers, musicians and entrepreneurs who run responsible, story-driven tours. 70% of every fee stays in the community through direct project funding.

Started by photographer and resident Grace Atieno as a way to show the real Kibera beyond headlines. Today the collective has 19 trained guides and runs daily art walks, music evenings, and innovation tours. All profits go into a community fund that has built two water points and a small library.
